The Bigger the Better

Here's a new friend still in progress. It's 24x36. I haven't worked so large in a while...I definitely like working bigger. And yes, that IS what she said.

Fractal Geometry and Art

Professor of physics at the University of Oregon, Richard Taylor, is experimenting with the fractal patterns of nature's aesthetics. I emailed him about the possibility of using his found data to come up with the perfect formula for visual composition. His findings are not complete yet, but I am thinking of doing my own experiments on the matter. If anyone is interested in helping me with this excursion into the mathematics of art I could use some test subjects.

Nice to Meat You

This is a re-do of an old piece I did for the "children's" book "The Little Veal Cutlet That Couldn't".

Tomorrow is Halloween. Hence, lots of drunken "sexy" *cough*cough*slutty*cough* versions of things that shouldn't be "sexy". Like Inmates, Monkeys, and Bananas. I, however, will be a gansta' pikachu. So. Yeah.

An elevator makes ghosts happy because it lifts the spirits.

Remember the enemy's gate is DOWN.

New art for Run Riot's new 7". Just registered for my final classes here at SCAD. As a certain effeminate droid would say: "Oooh Thank the maker!"

He wears glasses during math because it improves divison.

I'm Famous!

...Not...quite...

I don't know who checks their facts

I just got back from Clevo. It was a great trip. I saw friends, saw family, got a John McCain bobblehead at the Monsters game, ate 'nans, BOUGHT A DRESS, and bought Drew's wedding ring!

stuff got d.u.n.

Now I have work to do.

Yesterday I rode my bike twice, I guess that makes me a recycler,

Here's my Ender's Game inspired art. I thought this moment in Ender's fantasy computer game epitomized the entire meaning of the story.

Prepare to get your ass RAMMED

New logo for NC airsoft team 'Black Sheep Squadron".

I am going to Cleveland next Friday for this:

RUNNING OF THE BRIDES

If you think that this is completely out of character for me, you would be dead right. However:

-I AM getting married.
-I would like to wear a dress for that occassion.
-I could find a $10,000 dress for $200.
-my mother thinks it is fate that the sale is in Clevo, on my birthday/edge day.

I don't believe in fate myself, but it could be fun...or just a good opportunity slap-a-ho.

HOORAY FOR WOMANHOOD!

I fully respect your opinion. However, that fact of the matter is that I don't care that you think the pea is too small. IT'S A GATDANG PEA!

Once upon a butt...

New storybook stuff. Not finished yet.
I have decided it's imperative for me to read all of the hugo award winners since 1954. For someone who loves science fiction and human history I feel it important. This may take me a while. Many I have read already, but most I have not. One thing I can say for sure is that MAN IN THE HIGH CASTLE by Philip K. Dick DOES NOT belong on this list. I PKD, but MITHC is not science fiction. Wish me luck.

Oh and BUY STUFF!!...if you want.

Tales from the Darkside

Here are two drawings I did today for the front and back cover of an SC band's new CD. I'm not sure yet what to do with the text or the color, but I will play around with it this week.

Did you hear about the guy whose whole left side was cut off? He's all right now.

Some major, major things are happening for me right now. Both personally and professionally.

Summer quarter is over and I have only two more quarters to go.

If you like hardcore and things that are generally good you MUST listen to ON from Seattle. 'Silence Inside' is an instant classic.

Here are some pages from an unfinished sketchbook for your viewing anguish.

Would you buy this?

The Fool Pool is finished and being printed. Exciting.

I found a place I could get the HAVE HEART posters printed, but they would have to be resized and streched. Hopefully I can make it up to Clevo for that.

True Colors.

I never got a chance to see The First Step. Their last show is in PA on Sept 6th. I want more than anything to go. If I can get there then I can also go see my parents in Clevo. I'm not looking for handouts, but if there are any bands or anybody out there that need some artwork done, That would help me go. I also sell all of my work, so if anybody wants some original art I have TONS. xknowledgex@gmail.com
